Build the cheapest, quickest version of your solution and find out if you're right. You leave Do with a working capability that evidences your decision to invest in your prototype, pivot based on new evidence or kill it because it doesn't meet your need.
Typically 6 -8 weeks depending on the mode and domain of your solution (it takes longer to build and test a hardware product than a strategy)
